(she/her)

Licensed Clinician

Hello. My name is Nicole. I’ve been working as a counselor since 2014 and in private practice here at Fullerton Community Counseling since 2019. I feel grateful to be doing meaningful work in a community that means a lot to me.

I specialize in working with clients who want to make positive changes in their relationships--whether those relationships are romantic, familial, friendly, or professional. When working with couples, I support clients in creating a common love language uniquely tailored to their shared values. When working with individuals, I provide support to encourage alignment with core values as they navigate the dating world, family, friendships and the workplace. I am honored to work with many LGBTQ+ clients, including trans and gender non-conforming folks.

I view therapy as a creative, relational process. My practice is person-centered and emotionally-focused, often emphasizing boundary work and active listening techniques. In working through a relational lens, I support clients in reducing symptoms connected with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions and relationship distress.  I believe in lifelong learning, so I continually expand my knowledge of therapeutic techniques and integrate them into my practice.

Outside of the office, I enjoy dancing, seeing live stand-up comedy, yoga, handcrafted beverages, spending time with friends/family and watching videos of purse-sized dogs.
